Ichan Kala in Khiva

Ichan Kala is a historical city-museum under the open sky, became the first monument of the World Heritage in Central Asia. According to legend, the clay, which consists of the city walls, was taken from the same places as the clay for the construction of the city of Medina. Inside the city there are ancient madrassahs and mausoleums (16-19 centuries), minarets, caravanserais, baths, etc.
