Museum of History of Uzbekistan in Tashkent

Museum of History of Uzbekistan - is one of the oldest museums in Central Asia. It is located in Tashkent. Originally called the "National Museum of Turkestan", it was founded on July 12, 1876. The museum exposition consists of 250 thousand exhibits devoted to the historical development of the peoples of Central Asia from the time of the Stone Age to our days. In this museum, the well-known numismatist August (Czech by descent) worked, thanks to him a unique numismatic collection was collected.

Paid entrance. Located in the city center, near Mustakillik hotel, Hyatt Regency hotel, City Palace hotel, Wyndham hotel, Lotte Tashkent City Palace. It does not work on Mondays. Opening hours: 10.00-17.00
