Registan Square in Samarkand

 

Registan Square is the central ancient square of Samarkand, on the territory of which there are ancient madrasahs of the 15th and 17th centuries. Registan is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Registan consists of 3 mederes: Ulugbek madrasah (1417-1420), Sherdor madrassa (1619-1636) and Tilla-Kari madrasah (1646-1660).

Paid entrance. Located in the city center, near many hotels (hotel Zarina, hotel Registon Zargaron, Furkat guest house) and restaurants (Oriental sweets, Registon, Labi Gor, Sherdor, Old City). Opening hours: 10.00-19.00
